Location and travel information

The event will be held at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, at the University of St Andrews. This building is marked as 14 on the University map. The venue address is:

General information is available on travelling to St Andrews. St Andrews is a small town and the venue is within walking distance of most accommodation.

Food

A light lunch as well as morning and afternoon tea and coffee will be provided for participants on both days of the meeting; please indicate any special dietary requirements when registering.

On Monday evening, we will organise a group meal at a local restaurant; with the exception of invited speakers, attendees will have to cover their own expenses. Please indicate when registering if you are interested in joining us for this meal, and you will be sent more details about arrangements.

We have gotten a space at Zizzi on South Street (Google Maps) at 19:00.

Accommodation

The University offers their student halls as accommodation during the workshop. Information on the various halls is available on the University pages. The nearest hall of residence to the venue is Agnes Blackadder Hall.

We are in the process of block-booking some University accommodation for the workshop, and will update this page with more information when it is available.

St Andrews is a golfers/tourist destination with many hotels and B&Bs. The Visit Scotland website has a comprehensive list.
